When Venus is in her Superior Conjunction with the Sun she is the farthest she can be from Earth. Her energy may feel distant, and yet powerful transformations are occurring during her visit with the Sun. She is transitioning from Morning Star to Evening Star, a mystical alchemy of the divine feminine. Ancient civilizations believed this was a time when Venus entered the Underworld, such as in the Sumerian myth of Inanna traveling into the dark to confront her sister Ereshkigal.
