The Poets of Agency are a series of paintings capturing the essence of archetypal energies of the Generative Feminine. Often Feminine is coded as receptive, passive, and introspective, but the Feminine is also capable of generative action like birth and creation. This series is a powerful act of engaging with Agency, the magick of being able to influence and create reality. Trix is the feminine noun that denotes agency, and so these paintings are thusly named. The series is titled Poets of Agency from an inspirational quote found in Technicians of the Sacred. "These people are 'Technicians' where it most concerns them - in relation to the 'sacred' as something the can create and capture... 'Poets' are techinicians of the Sacred." - Rothenbury, pg xix-xx
