Gemini Season arrived and I was immediately swept into a flurry of travel, visits with friends, and creative happenings. The timing with the vaccine also helped here in Colorado to create serendipitous encounters that may not have been possible last year.
Gemini, the Twins, is a sign of complex dualities. Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and flight, Gemini are witty, bright, and quick individuals. As an air sign Gemini is activating when it appears in the sky, bringing the stimulating aspects of the wind to situations. This season we have Mercury Retrograde in the middle of Gemini Season to leave life in a muddle, and a powerful New Moon eclipse in Mercury as well.
Ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and flight, Gemini are witty, bright, and quick individuals.
With the air sign magnetism of the season, I’m turning to my crystals for a little extra support. Alexandrite, Agate, and Prehnite are a powerful triplet of allies to manage the vibe of the Twins.

A relatively modern discovery in the world of crystals, the soft green hue of Prehnite makes it a crystal ally for matters of the heart, especially issues with trust.

Alexandrite
Alexandrite guides us towards knowledge of the dualistic myth, creating opportunities to dismantle polarities. This stone transitions from red to green depending on the kind of light it is in.
Alexandrite is sometimes colloquially referred to as “Emerald by Day, Ruby by Night,” which speaks to many of the dualities we construct.
The color changing magick of Alexandrite has also been connected to the mischievous way of the Fae. Work with Alexandrite when wanting to work with the realm of the Faeries.
