The Shapeshifter Tarot is the deck I draw from every New Year to receive an animal totem to anchor my resolutions and intentions around throughout the year. The tradition started for me in college when I drew a card from a friends deck to call in the New Year. It was extremely impactful for me, and although it took me several years to find a copy of my own I found ways to discern the wisdom from the cards.

This last year I drew the Blindness Card, which features snake. This was extremely auspicious for me because I had been working closely with Snake magick for a New Year Ritual. Read more about that experience on my Blog.
