52 Fungi is a zine about Mushroom Magick, created for the Game of Shrooms in 2026.

"For years people have joked with me about making a series for mushrooms or fish or types of coffee. Although all of these things do have mystical application and the more I learn the more I see everything is rich with symbolism, I've laughed off the suggestions until now. Starting this year I will be releasing 1 to 3 issues of 52 Fungi as part of the the Game of Shrooms until the event ceases, I stop writing zines, or we get to 52 issues."

Game of Shrooms is a once a year world-wide art-N-seek event created by Attaboy. 

The next Game of Shrooms happens on June 13th, 2026. On that day, artists from all over the world hide their original mushroom-themed art works in public places then they give hints (often on social media) for others to find AND KEEP!

Game of Shrooms, started in 2019 by Attaboy, is like an Easter Egg Hunt for art and celebrates the spirit of unexpected surprises. Artists and gatherers from Hong Kong, Berlin, Japan, the UK, India, Russia, Switzerland, Tasmania, the US, and many more participate in this world-wide event every year. Envision a collaborative art movement spanning the globe, free from religious dogma, where people actively create, share, and encounter moments of absolute freakin’ wonder.

Last year, thousands across the world participated in their local areas hiding and hunting safely during the pandemic!
